Dyslexie Font was created by Christian Boer, a designer who has dyslexia himself. He built it around a simple idea: that letters shouldn't be so easy to mix up.
The font gives each character a heavier base, wider openings, and unique shapes that make it easier for the brain to tell them apart — reducing the mental effort it takes to move through a sentence and freeing readers up to focus on what really matters: the story.
Joy, Hope, Love, Grace, Faith, and Patience are for everyone. We didn't want a single reader to miss out on their stories because the words on the page got in the way. Choosing Dyslexie Font was one of the easiest decisions we made — because making our books more accessible makes our whole community stronger.
Dyslexia is part of the beautiful diversity of human brains. It's not a barrier to reading — it's just a different way of processing the world. Around 1 in 5 people have dyslexia, which means someone in almost every classroom, family, and community experiences it.
We see you. You belong at the Watering Hole. Come join us! ❤️
